I founded the Alameda String Academy in 2013 after I moved to Alameda with my family and fell in love with the island, with the aim of bringing beautiful music to our community, especially chamber music.

In the past few years we've grown from just an idea to a community of about 60 musicians who are learning together, playing together and performing together.

Our students take weekly lessons in violin, viola, cello and guitar from our talented faculty - who also join together to perform in the local community to bring some of the world's greatest chamber music to Alameda.
